Smith downplays 'leaked dossiers'

The supposedly leaked dossiers are the last thing on Graeme Smith’s mind ahead of their game against Australia.

CAPE TOWN - Proteas test captain Graeme Smith has taken a light-hearted look about apparent leaked dossiers.

According to reports, the dossier outlined Australia's plans on how to deal with key players ahead of the first test in Brisbane on Friday.

Smith said, "We try to keep it in the guys’ heads as much as possible so the dossiers are not left lying around. At the end of the day, we’ve played against each other enough. Our test team has been together for a period of time now so there’s a lot of footage and information about us.”

Smith said they are no strangers to one another.

“All of us have played enough against Australia. We’ve prepared enough and we know what’s needed for us to be victorious. Our preparation has been clinical and intelligent. We’re looking forward to the game.”

Australian captain Michael Clarke admitted that the publication of the dossier surprised him but most of the content is common knowledge.

Kickoff is at 2am.
