JOHANNESBURG - Banyana Banyana coach Joseph Mkhonza on Thursday said the team’s mission is not finished yet and they must maintain their focus ahead of the African Women Championship final on Sunday.

South Africa pulled of a sensational win over Africa's top ranked team Nigeria on Wednesday night to secure their place in Sunday's game against host Equitorial Guinea.

Banyana beat the Super Falcons by 1-0.

Mkhonza said the home support will count in Guinea's favour.

“We have to be grounded and make sure that we are ready for the game. It’s not going to be easy because they have the 12th player which is the supporters.”

Mkhonza said their mental preparation will be key.

Earlier this week, Mkhonza was named Coach of the Year at the South African Sports Award.
