PTA fire contained
The fire at a bio-fuel factory has been contained by emergency services.
PRETORIA - Tshwane emergency services have managed to contain a massive fire that's gutted a bio-fuel factory and several other buildings near Rosslyn, north of Pretoria.
No injuries have been reported, but the damage is expected to run into millions of rands.
Black fumes of smoke can be seen from as far as Pretoria east.
A small fire started at oil to diesel conversion plant but spread to large barrels of oil.
The barrel exploded and sent the oil like burning lava into the streets burning buildings, cars and over head cables.
The entire area was rendered off limits except for emergency services for managed to contain the lava like fire.
