JOHANNESBURG - The family of a murdered 50-year-old Muldersdrift man on Sunday said they want answers.
Andre Jordaan died on Saturday evening at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Soweto.
Speaking to Eyewitness News, the Jordaan family said they have moved out of their Muldersdrift home and are now in Krugersdorp.
The family said their new neighbourhood was “much safer”.
Jordaan's youngest son, Kevin, was too emotional to talk to Eyewitness News but said he will miss his father dearly.
Andre's brother, Jean-Pierre, says his older brother was a happy and very bubbly person.
“My brother was a very brave man, he was very protective. He was also a fun guy to hang out with. He was an awesome guy.”
The family will attend proceedings in the Krugersdorp Magistrate’s Court on Monday, to protest over what they called injustices their family has to face.
