CAPE TOWN - Ajax Cape Town forward Keagan Dolly on Friday said the pressure was on him to perform well following his stellar performance against Manchester United in the pre-season.

Dolly grabbed everyone's attention with a no-fear attitude against the English giants in July.

He scored twice in the Urban's Warriors first league win two weeks ago.

He said his first performance had set the standard for the season.

“There is a bit of pressure because people are expecting the same performance throughout the season.

However, I set myself a standard and I’m willing to maintain it.”

Dolley joined the Ajax from Mamelodi Sundowns.

He said Cape Town is where he wants to be.

“I’m enjoying my stay in the club. I think it’s the type of team that I want to be with for a long time because it matches my style of play.”

The Urban Warriors have only managed a single win in three games.

They will travel to Bloemfontein to take on the Bloemfontein Celtics on Sunday.

Kickoff is at 3pm.
