Another petrol price hike expected
After petrol prices increased by 93 cents overnight, motorists should prepare for another hike.
While the price of petrol rose by 93 cents a litre last night, diesel went up by 69 cents a litre and paraffin 73 cents a litre.
Instead they should brace themselves for the possibility that the petrol price could rise by another 20 cents next month.
Financial planner Craig Shelly said tough times lie ahead for consumers.
“We’re all impacted by the fuel price increase. The extra 20 cent increase will really take us over the edge. This is going to hurt.”
