JOHANNESBURG - A fourth person died in hospital following a shooting in a shack operating as a shebeen in Fochville in the north west of Gauteng on Sunday.

Three people were shot dead and six others seriously injured when a group of attackers stormed into the shack.

About five shacks were also burnt down in the violence.

Police questioned eyewitnesses throughout Sunday.

The number of attackers is still unknown.

Police spokesperson Lungelo Dlamini said the suspects were travelling in a minibus taxi, and no arrests were made yet.

“We have launched a manhunt for the suspects. We understand that the attackers were clad in blankets.”
