CAPE TOWN - Shooting for the sequel to Spud: The Movie is currently taking place at a Cape Town school.

Australian actor Troy Sivan is in the country to film Spud 2 along with local actors.

The first film, based on John van der Ruit's book, was a huge success in 2010.

It grossed R2.9 million at the local box office.

Cape Town actor Ross Rowley worked with the cast.

“I was there to help them to help them get back into character before the shoot.”
