LIMASSOL – Lolly Jackson murder suspect George Louka’s extradition hearing heard closing arguments on Friday.

He fled South Africa shortly after the Teazers boss was gunned down at a house in Kempton Park on Gauteng’s East Rand back in 2010.

In court on Friday, defence lawyer Sofoklis Sofocleous said the evidence against Louka was “ridiculous”.

He said there was no recording of Louka’s alleged phone call to police, in which Louka confessed to Jackson’s killing.

Sofocleous also told the court that the two officers, who met Louka for coffee and saw blood on his jeans, should have arrested him and tested the stain.

The lawyer repeated his argument that a 1970 law prevents Cypriot citizens from being extradited.

At the time of his arrest, Louka was also wanted for theft, fraud and possession of stolen property.
