CYPRUS – Prosecutors in the George Louka extradition hearing closed their case in a Cyprus court on Tuesday.

Louka skipped the country after the 2010 murder of strip club king Lolly Jackson.

The Teazers boss was gunned down at a house near OR Tambo International Airport on Gauteng’s East Rand.

Prosecuting lawyer Elena Sophocleous’ last witness testified in the Limassol Criminal Court on Tuesday.

The Foreign Ministry employee told the court that South Africa had sent Louka's extradition papers through the correct channels.

The state has now rested its case and closing arguments will be heard on Friday.

Judge Elana Ephraim is expected to postpone her decision on whether Louka will be extradited to South Africa to face murder charges.

He remains in custody under heavy police guard.

At the time of his arrest in March, Louka was wanted for theft, fraud and possession of stolen property.
