Members from the Dougans gang in Reiger Park on Wednesday said it is unfair that they are immediately fingered each time a crime occurs in their neighbourhood.
Last week, three members were arrested after a 36-year-old man was shot and wounded outside his house.
The shooting took place on Thursday evening.
Officials later dropped the charges against the three men.
Earlier in 2012, three people were killed in apparent gang-related attack.
In a separate incident, Dougans leader Gavin Adams was killed in a hit in Meadowdale.
Adams and his wife Leila were shot at by three men in balaclavas, who drove a car with tinted windows.
Nobody was arrested for the murder.
According to a member of the Dougans, it is unfair that crimes were not being treated the same.
He said that nothing is being done to solve the two murders.
