CAPE TOWN - Jebb Sinclair will almost certainly be named in the Stormers starting line up to face the Waratahs at Newlands this weekend.

Coach Allister Coetzee will announce his 22-man squad later on Wednesday which will also include Western Province Vodacom Cup loose forward Don Armand on the reserve bench.

Sinclar will start at number eight, following the injury to Nizaam Carr last week.

Coetzee said Sinclair was the right man, and the only available man for the job.

“I think he did well in his first game against the Cheetahs.”

Coetzee added Sinclair's expertise and international experience will be crucial.

“He’s an international player and he slotted in well. There’s a big possibility he will start this weekend.”

Sinclair has been on loan from his Aviva Premiership side, London Irish, to the Stormers.

His call up comes as regulars Schalk Burger, Duane Vermeulen and Nick Koster remain sidelined with knee injuries and would not be back until after the June Test window.

The Stormers are currently sitting on number four on the Super Rugby log after losing just one game this season.
