JOHANNESBURG - The African National Congress (ANC) said on Tuesday it believed its disciplinary processes regarding Julius Malema was finished.
The African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) said it wanted a meeting to arrange his reinstatement.
Malema was expelled from the ANC in April.
But, the ANCYL remains defiant by confirming that Malema is the organisation's leader and the decision to expel him was a political one.
The League’s Deputy Secretary General Kenetswe Mosenogi said, “The observation made by the NDCA undermines the autonomy of the ANC Youth League.”
But the youth league seems to falling on deaf ears as the ANC said the processes around Malema were now finished.
