JOHANNEBSURG - The Gautrain Management Agency hopes the water seepage problem in the tunnel between Rosebank and Park Station in Johannesburg, will be resolved within the next month.
The agency said on Sunday that it was waiting for the Bombela Concession Company to come up with a practical solution.
The Bombela Operating Company was contracted by the Bombela Concession Company to deliver the operations and maintenance of the Gautrain system.
The link was originally meant to be opened in December last year.
The agency's CEO, Jack van der Merwe, said the link will not be opened until officials are satisfied that the problem has been resolved.
He said this was important because the link could have a negative impact on the service in the long run.
