Triple murder after suspected drug spat
A triple murder in Delft is believed to be caused by a drug deal that turned sour.
CAPE TOWN: The Western Cape Community Policing Board on Monday said a triple murder in Delft is believed to be caused by a drug deal that turned sour.
The bodies of three men were found in an open field near Voorbrug High School on Saturday.
Police have so far arrested one suspect in connection with the incident.
Chairperson of the Community Policing Board Hanif Loonat said, “These are drug merchants from the West Bank area that came to buy drugs in the Delft area and apparently the deal went sour and they were killed. That is what we have got at this stage.”
