CAPE TOWN - Western Cape traffic on Monday said eight people have died on the roads this long weekend.

In one incident, three people were killed in a collision on the N7 near Malmesbury on Sunday.

Provincial traffic's Donald Lakey said the expected bad weather will create another challenge.

“Monday’s weather is also going to play a role. I think it is going to be overcast so please, switch on your headlights and wear your safety belts.”
