Two cars crash in Kempton park, seriously hurting passengers.
Eleven people, including a five-year old child, were injured when two motor vehicles collided on Pretoria Road in Kempton Park on the East Rand.
Emergency personnel arrived on the scene on Sunday morning to find both vehicles still on the road with two occupants in one vehicle and nine in the other.
ER24's Derrick Banks said, “The child sustained a broken leg and possible chest injuries. The child’s mother sustained suspected neck and back injuries.”
The occupants of the other vehicle all sustained suspected neck and back injuries.
The accident came as traffic officials urged motorists to drive responsibly over the long weekend.
