Gautrain officials on Tuesday said they were ready to open the final phase of the project between Rosebank and Park Station.
The 16 km underground tunnel is now complete and the previous water seepage has been sorted out.
Officials said the drainage system was working well and will not affect train operations.
The company’s Errol Braithwaight said, “We all systems go and we keen as punch to open it up to the public as quickly as we can.”
The final phase should be open to the public as early as next month pending an approval process.
