Local

Aid organisation Gift of the Givers said on Sunday that the death toll in Brazzaville, Congo could be more than the reported 200.

The organisation has taken aid to the city, where a weapons depot exploded in March.

More than 200 people were killed, while thousands more were left displaced.

“We were in an area I didn’t see last time,” said Gift of the Giver's Dr Imtiaz Sooliman.

“The death toll must be well beyond 500.”
