Bulls coach Frans Ludeke on Wednesday made two changes to his side that will travel to Coca-Cola Park on Saturday night to face the Lions.
JJ Engelbrecht replaces Johann Sadie at outside centre and Wilhelm Steenkamp comes in for Flip van der Merwe at lock.
Dewald Potgieter was cleared to play again on Tuesday, and could make his first start of the 2012 season off the bench.
Ludeke expressed his gratitude to the entirely medical team.
“I must say he had a very good [rehabilitation] phase. I’d like to give credit to the rehab team. The last players that came back are doing well,” he said.
Skipper Pierre Spies said it was important not to get emotionally caught up in matches.
“It’s important to keep perspective before and during the game. You’ve got to channel you energy and emotions in the right direction. I think our team has absorbed the pressure well.”
The Pretoria team is sitting at number four on the Super Rugby log.
