Santos coach Duncan Crowie has admitted his team is in a tight spot but he believes they can change things around.

The People's Team is still battling to get out of the relegation zone and face an inconsistent Golden Arrows side, who are one point ahead of them on the Absa Premiership table.

Santos is coming off a 2-0 loss to Bloemfontein Celtic at the weekend.

Crowie says the team needs to keep calm during this difficult time.

“Yes, we find ourselves in a difficult position, but we just have to stay focused on our game plan. I believe if we remain focussed, we will walk away with three points,” he says.

Crowie adds it is a do or die match for his team.

“Muhsin Ertugral is a very good coach and playing against him is going to be a challenge. Golden Arrows come from a 4 - 1 victory over Maritzburg and we come from a defeat. I won’t say it is evenly pushed, but we definitely not going to underestimate them.”

The game kicks off at 7:30pm on Wednesday.
