The beginner’s guide to Primedia+

Pippa Hudson interviews Barbara Friedman, Digital Content Editor at Primedia Broadcasting.

Listen below.

On Monday, 15 January 2024, Primedia Broadcasting launched Primedia+, the new go-to platform for all things 702, 947, CapeTalk, kfm 94.5 and EWN bulletins.

The one-stop destination is here to make your favourite shows, interviews, news and events easily accessible at your fingertips, no matter where you are.

For some of our listeners the process has been an easy, seamless one and they’ve taken to the new upgraded online and mobile experience quickly.

But for many, it’s been difficult and frustrating.

To make the transition easier, here is everything you need to know about the app.

Why the change?

Our prior website demonstrated effectiveness; however, it encountered recurrent issues.

The newly developed website is designed to accommodate the expanding digital content landscape, offering a consolidated platform for written and visual content, live streaming, competitions and archival content.

Additionally, it provides an opportunity to explore our other stations that may not have been easily accessible earlier.

"It's a one-stop shop."

How to access the app and website

Several listeners have reported challenges in downloading and locating the app on app stores.

When conducting searches on the app store, ensure the query is specified as 'Primedia+' using the symbol rather than the written word.

For website access, search 'Primediaplus.com' with the words written out and not the symbol.

It's imperative that all smart devices are equipped with the latest software to facilitate the app's functionality.

Apple users, in particular, should ensure they are running a iOS 16 version or above.

"Make sure software is up-to-date."
